I'm not linked to World of Wool in any way, I just really got into spinning this year, and I want to share my love of the advent calendar.
Day Sixteen: Rudolph Nose; 25% Shetland, 25% Bionylon, 25% Bamboo, 25% Tussah silk
A warmer toned red than the Shetland Cherry earlier in the month, but still a gorgeous pink toned red, this is such a fun colour. Bionylon intrigues me, as it is biodegradable nylon. That just sounds fun. I love this blend, and if World of Wool made more in different colours, I'd spin it into so many gloves. As it is though... I've settled on a three ply. Consider this: one ply in the bright pink of Paris Pink in mulberry silk, one ply of Shetland Cherry, and one ply of this. Of course it'll be another shawl, but I think this one might be really pretty in mostly chain loops to let the colours really stand out without the stitch pattern being the focus.
Have you kept up with how many shawls I plan to make?
