I think it is pretty safe to say that my week has been so very dull, that being annoyed at hayfever and pollen levels is the only thing I can talk about in this post.
See you next week with a hopefully less sneezy post,
E
I hate hayfever. I really do. I spend the autumn/winter months with colds and the flu, and spring/summer/autumn with hayfever. The sneezing... The eye burning... Watery eyes causing blurred vision... I hate it.

I love watching this kind of video on YouTube, so I thought I'd do a blog post of my favourites; why not?
YouTube Captain Suicide is a new gaming channel started by someone special to me. He plays games... sort of. He dies in game a lot. And please, for the sake of your liver, do not play the drinking game where you take a shot every time he swears or dies. I tried doing it with green tea, and I got through an entire flask before I had even finished one video. It is adorable though. Music Panic! At The Disco returns with Hallelujah and I am in love. I'm not even going to say any more about it. Literature I've been binge reading a lot in June, and I want to use this as a chance to say how much I love the works of Mark Z Danielewski. The plot/s are always amazing, the characters are so dimensional, but the aesthetics of the books just add so many more layers to it. I recommend House of Leaves especially, but the first part in a 27 volume collection has been released - The Familiar: One Rainy Day in May - and I cannot wait to dive into that world. Apps I recently got a smartphone! Yay! It mostly works, too! Yay! I'm slightly obsessed with The Sims Freeplay (Android version), and I have spent way too many hours on it already. Basically you control the people, and let them go to work, build hobbies, that sort of thing. I do keep losing the toddler though (she likes to hide!), and forgetting I have a baby. Sites Holly Lodge WI is the website I'm (still) creating and running for the WI group I'm a part of, and I'm pretty happy with it. Makeup I recently rediscovered my love of Stargazer eye shadows. Purple Passion is a beautiful eyeshadow that I use on the outer corner of my eyelid when I use my Naked 3 palette, but I also enjoy using the eyeshadow with a large brush as a blusher. It gives such a gorgeous tone; the pink tones in it help with a blush, while the blue tones help hide redness. What have your favourites been this last month? See you next week! E |
