I have been rewatching Doctor Who lately and I started to think... What random decisions, ones that we barely think about, have led us to where we are?
All of the decisions that we put time and effort into making are just as important as the ones we dismiss so easily. Every decision we make has a ripple effect. We have all seen Adjustment Bureau (which by the way is not romantic, but damn stalkerish, he literally changes the way he travels for several years just to meet a woman again) and know how one thing leads to another, but really think about it.
What huge decisions have got you to where you are? Your college and university choices - whether you went or not, and if you did go where to go and what to study - are obviously huge. What about little ones like who to follow on Tumblr? I have made friends just because I hit a button; a choice I made and dismissed quickly has created friendships that otherwise would never have happened.
I want to hear from you about this. What was your turn left/turn right decision, something you dismissed at the time, that then changed your life?
See you next Tuesday!
