Crochet
I have been crocheting a cardigan, and I finally finished it yesterday! If you want to see pictures, you can find them on my Discord server because trying to get pictures on this blog is surprisingly difficult. I spent half the time working on it being worried I'd not have enough yarn for the sleeves, so I changed from Tunisian crochet to filet crochet, with chain insertion at the sleeves... which probably means very little if you don't crochet. I made it go from dense fabric to almost like lace, with loops in the sleeves. I'm really happy with it, it fits pretty well, and I even have a tiny bit of left over yarn to maybe make a flower to attach to a pin instead of having buttons...
Plans
October means Victober, an annual reading challenge to read Victorian literature. The second half of this month is also Tome Topple, a readathon that involves reading books with more than 500 pages. I am considering combining the two, since I've not read fiction in months. I'll not do a TBR, I just want to wing it, but I am considering taking part...
For now though, that's everything. It's not been an exciting week, but it has been a restful week, and that is exactly what I needed.
