Books Completed
Erm... No.
Books in Progress
Continuing on from last week, I'm still reading The Mummy! by Jane Loudon via Serial Reader and absolutely loving it. There's so much humour that I just wasn't expecting.
On my Kobo, I'm reading Black Powder War by Naomi Novik, the third book in the Temeraire series. Honestly, if you've not read it yet, go for it.
For my academic reading, it's Ancient Literacies edited by William Johnson and Holt Parker. It is a collection of essays about the different types of literacy in Greece and Rome, and it's interesting. It's not for everyone; it can be a little heavy on the details.
I returned earlier today to the audiobook Queers Destroy Science Fiction which is an anthology of LGBTQ+ science fiction short stories. I love it. There's been lesbians, transgender characters, nonbinary characters, a charming male/male gay relationship, and so much more beyond that. I thoroughly recommend it if you love science fiction and are tired of a lack of representation.
Games
Oh dear. This is why I've not posted this earlier. I've started Fallout 3. And I returned yesterday to Fallout New Vegas and I can now play Fallout 4 again. I like the franchise.
Summary
A lot of the last week was spent stressing out over my last essay of the academic year, but now that is done (I finished it yesterday) I can finally relax.
How has your week been?
