These are those books you meant to read in 2016 or 2015 or 2014 and never got around to. Those books that have been sitting on your TBR for a while, and you really want to get to. These aren't upcoming 2017 releases; these are older books that need your love too!
Onwards to just five.
1. Loeb Classical Library
For obvious reasons, I'm not going to read the entire 500+ books in the LCL but I do want to make a bit of a dent in it. I'm hoping for one a month, picked at random, but honestly just reading one will be enough. The LCL is a wonderful collection of ancient Greek and Roman texts, with the original language on one side and the English translation on the other. I've had a digital subscription to it since it became available, but I've still not read any of the books. I need to change that.
2. Delph Classics
Like the LCL, I'm not going to list titles as I'm doing it at random. I would like to finish completely one author in 2017, but every month I'd like to make progress on it. I have a ridiculous amount of books from Delphi Classics, and with Series Seven and Eight coming soon, I'm going to have even more. I'm going to be realistic and say I'm not going to finish every single book I have of theirs, but like the LCL I want to make a good dent. I'm about 20% through the Oscar Wilde one at the moment.
3. A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin
I will finish this bloody series. I will.
4. The Wicked + The Divine
I was watching Graphic Content on HyperRPG and said in the chat that I've never read a graphic novel. HyperRPG replied with the recommendation of The Wicked + The Divine and after looking it up I knew I had to read it. I am getting the eBook version of it (once I've saved up enough), just because I find eBooks easier to read than printed books, and I cannot wait until January to read this.
5. Wonders of the... series by Brian Cox
These were some of the first books I bought when I first got my Kobo, and I've still not read any. I utterly adore physics, especially astrophysics, so I desperately want to read them. I just keep getting distracted by other books... and Netflix... and YouTube... and Twitch... but I will read these books! I will!
