Around the World of Wool
The blend is called Kurisumasu ni wa Kentakkii which is just fascinating. As floof, it reminds me of the red part of watermelon. The red Corriedale is gorgeous, and the lotus fibre is so soft. While I'm not the biggest fan of viscose (I just prefer smoother yarn than textured, but it's a very personal preference, I've got friends mildly obsessed with tweed), I am strongly considering a Corriedale/lotus custom blend from World of Wool as a sweater spin. I think it'd be gorgeous as a warm cosy cardigan. At 180 yards though, this won't make a cardigan for me, I definitely need more floof.
Dungeons & Dragons
Remember the first day? And how great it was? Today is a piece of card. It's a "bauble" with an owlbear (utterly adorable) on one side, and a D&D print on the other. I don't think this is 80p worth of anything. In order to make use of it though, I'll punch some holes in it and use it as a thread organiser.
Yankee Candle Home Inspiration
Today's was a lovely, light scent and honestly I'd love this as a perfume. It's the delicate scent of a union not needing to strike because they were able to get what they should have without a huge fight.
Twinings
In the tea bag, today's Cleanse smells exactly like Bertie Basset's liquorice, and yes, specifically that one brand of it. In the cup, it's more citrus. Cleanse is a blend of matcha (never had that before!), green tea, lemon, and fennel. It tastes of liquorice dipped in sherbet lemon powder. It's the weirdest thing and I kinda love it. Considering I can get two cups from one tea bag, and that this one cost about the same as the D&D one, I am definitely finding this better value than a piece of card. It did leave a ring around my cup, but all green tea does that with this cup, it's odd. I'd love to know why.
