World of Wool: Day Five
This was such a challenging spin for me. It's a beautiful blend of milk, orange mulberry silk, and superfine merino, and it was difficult. Called "Carrots, Milk, and Mince pies" this is an adorable name for a very pretty blend, but for some reason I struggled to keep it consistent. I had thick spots then spots so thin it broke... It's beautiful to look at, but I'm not sure I'd spin this again.

Another blend from World of Wool (can you tell where my favourite place to shop for fibre is?), this is a blend of red and black merino with white flax. I'm a little in love with the colour, and for my first time spinning flax into linen, this was fun. I ended up with an aran weight yarn that I intend to crochet into a shawl. The colours combined together in such a lovely way, but it's still possible to see the individual colours as well.
What are your plans for the week?
