It wasn't so long ago when I listed my targets for 2015. Habit RPG has now changed its name to Habitica, the Read the Alphabet challenge has become Club:Book, but you know what? I did it.
I kept with reading as often as possible, even branching out into more book clubs and genres I have never considered before. I've loved this journey into new worlds, and I want that to continue. Club:Book certainly keeps me on my toes when it comes to picking new books each month.
When it comes to Netflix, I've definitely embraced that! I have also made a few things this year that I'm very proud of, from blankets to scarves. I have two blankets on my hook at the moment, and I love working on them. I'll be sure to post a pattern and pictures as soon as I've finished them.
I've been stretching once a day too, and even though it isn't helping my joints, it does make me feel in more control of my body. It is something I can do to make sure all my joints are in place too.
Organisation doesn't always come naturally to me, but I have (mostly!) kept up with a weekly blog post, even adding a monthly favourites post. I'm so proud of myself for doing that. I've also re-joined the Women's Institute, a Dungeons and Dragons game which is streamed on Twitch (link at the side), and I run another D&D game. I'm embracing my free time, and using it as I want to, rather than how I feel I have to.
Some amazing things have happened in 2015: I graduated from university, I've stepped out of my comfort zone and made new friends.
Not everything has been positive, and that's OK, because that is what life is. I've had setbacks with my health, had friendships that I held dear fade into nothing, and watched as people supported Donald Trump. Having a mixture of good and bad is expected; nothing can be perfect forever, but the happy parts can help make the negative parts better. Maybe. Sometimes.
See you next week!
