Lush
Christmas and Halloween at Lush is my favourite time of the year. Snow Fairy and Rose Jam return, and the scents are just divine. As such, I'm going to split this into scent families.
Snow Fairy
For anyone not familiar, Snow Fairy is a beautiful, sweet candy scent that reminds me of candyfloss and sweet shops. It is glittery, pink, and utterly beautiful. I love it.
Shower Gel
I have bought this every year since 2012 and I adore it. I not only use it around Christmas time, but also through summer when I want a reminder that winter is indeed coming. This is as beautiful as it is every year.
Conditioner
This is new, and it smells so pretty. Although you are supposed to wash it off, I use a very small amount and leave it on. It not only smells divine and lasts all day and into the next, but it made my skin feel super soft.
Dusting Powder
Sparkly powder that smells of Snow Fairy - what more could I possibly want in life? I used this as a highlight on my collarbone yesterday. and it looked lovely. I also used the Snow Fairy perfume from the Kitchen last year, and every so often I could smell Snow Fairy; it was bliss.
Comforter
This is a gorgeous berry scent, that is available all year through in the form of the bubble bar, but this year it features heavily in some of the Christmas and Halloween exclusives.
Goth Fairy
Somewhere between Comforter and Snow Fairy, this is a sugar sweet scent with berry. The colour of the glitter is just beautiful, and the scent lasts longer than Snow Fairy Sparkle from last year. I love it.
Lip Scrub
This tastes how Comforter smells. It is just gorgeous. I'm still using up Santa Baby from last year, but I cannot wait to use this.
Lip Tint
This colour makes me so happy. It is perfect for autumn, and tastes rather good too. The berry shade is gorgeous, and looks wonderful over Urban Decay's Afterdark, as well as on its own.
Random Scents
Not belonging to either of the above scent families, these products are still beautiful in their own right.
Christingle
Along the same lines as the Snow Fairy conditioner, this one is very minty and smells of cold winter nights. Again I used a tiny amount and left it on, and my skin has never felt so soft.
Mr Sandman
Another dusting powder, this smells of Twilight but slightly sweeter. I've not had the chance to use many Twilight products, but this is beautiful.
Rose Jam
My signature scent in the autumn months. The shower gel is as gorgeous as it is usually is, and I cannot wait to use it on Christmas Eve like I usually do.
Lush Halloween and Christmas ranges are gorgeous, and if I could I would buy literally everything several times over.
Ciate
These products only arrived this morning, so I haven't yet tried them; I'm just going on first impressions.
Advent Calendar
I've bought the last two advent calendars as well, and they still make up almost all of my nail polish collection. This year the bottles are in their own little boxes, which does it make it a little harder to get them out with my painful hands. The colours are beautiful, and unlike the 2014 calendar, I love every single shade. I would happily wear all the colours as well. I know it is only October, but I couldn't resist opening it!
Eye Shadow Palettes
I bought the collection of eye shadows because I'm not overly fond of the lipstick shades that come with the individual palettes. The packaging is gorgeous, with a holographic lid. It does not come with a brush, leaving more room for the shadows.
Pretty is full of neutral shimmery shades; it is nothing overwhelming as far as I can tell, but it is a lovely palette nonetheless.
Fearless is another neutral shimmery palette, but has much darker shades, colours I'm more likely to wear. I think the two palettes would look beautiful combined together, with the dark colours of this one and the light colours of the Pretty palette.
Fun is probably the palette I'll wear when I want to add a splash of colour. Again, I think the colours would look lovely with the other palettes, adding a hint of colour with what usually would be a neutral look.
I love all these products so far, and I cannot wait to use everything!
