My hayfever peaks from February to September, which means that for way too many months of the year my eyes are itchy and watery, my vision is blurry, I cannot stop sneezing, and my nose is like a tap. I hate it.
Of course there are worse things to happen, but I don't care. I hate hayfever.
In the summer months, everything is already more difficult. I am not designed for heat. In Britain we seem to be going through a bit of a heatwave, and I may have melted quite a lot. Combine the heat with hayfever, and things go from bad to worse.
You may be saying "E, you can buy medication! It will stop the allergies!"
You are right, anti-histamines do exist. I'm allergic to them. I do see the irony in being allergic to things that prevent allergic reactions, but I'm just that special.
I never thought the Stark family motto would be so inspirational.
See you next Tuesday!
