April Wrap Up
I only read articles for my university assignment in April. I didn't read any full books, nor any fiction. If you want the details of what I read exactly, you can take a look at my reading log, but nothing was too exciting to talk about in depth.
May Wrap Up
I told you this would be short. In May I read one novel which I would rather not list here. Instead I will take you to the review I posted, as well as the YouTube video by Kalanadi that piqued my interest. Other than that one novel, I read one full book for university - A Companion to Classical Receptions edited by Lorna Hardwick - which I thoroughly enjoyed. It's a collection of essays looking at how classics is interpreted in different ways at different times by different cultures. It's great.
June TBR
My continued focus will be on my degree. If you've been following for a while, you will know how much I adore my degree; I have found my love in Classical Studies. With my dissertation now actually happening, that has to be my focus. As such, here's my TBR for June...
- A Companion to Ancient Greece and Rome On Screen edited by AJ Pomeroy
- A Companion to the Roman Republic edited by Nathan Rosenstein
- Pompey, Cato, and the Governance of the Roman Empire edited by Kit Morrell
- Film and the Classical Epic Tradition edited by Joanna Paul
This takes my current count to 33 items finished, and 5,613 points. It is also my hope I'll be able to share a little more about the points system I'm using soon...
I would also like to mention that I am doing YouTube videos of room builds in The Sims 4 every other day. You can find the playlist to that here if you so wish.
How has your month been?
