However, I do want to talk a little about happiness. It is something I find difficult at times, and suffering with depression really does not help; even the highest highs can be tainted with that cloud. I do try, and I make sure I do my best to appreciate the good times, whether they are silver linings or huge and amazing things.
I have started to keep track of the good. I'm using 3 Minute Journal to keep a record of events and how I felt about them. I'm hoping to then do a recap after a while so I can look back on events. I'm doing this for the good, the bad, and the mundane.
Feel free to join me in this. Whether you do it anyway for therapy, as a diary, or just because you want to, or you have never done it before, why not give it a go? You might be surprised at the things you'll forget in a years time.
