I love new things. Throughout 2013 I bought a lot of things, and I'm going to share some of them with you. I'm mainly focusing on two things - Lush and books - because this could fast become the longest blog post ever. Some of the things I got for Christmas, some I bought myself, and some are things I cannot live without. For the books, they are ones I have yet to read, so feel free to let me know which ones you think I should read first.
At the end, I'll leave a list of all the books I have read since the last blog post; this will become a regular thing, so I can keep up with what I'm reading, and attempt to not read the same book twice in a year.
Let us begin...
Lush is probably one of my favourite shops. I just adore it. These are some of the things I use on a daily basis, and utterly adore. Of course, I also have things that I use for special occasions, but I'll save those for another blog post or this will become insanely long.

Time for books!
I love books. I don't have enough bookcases for all the books I have, and I have an eReader with too many books on it, and a few more on my laptop as well.
I made a list last year of all the books I owned at the time and wanted to read. When it reached 700 and I still hadn't finished, I stopped. There are books I have bought since doing that list that I have yet to add.
Fear not! I promise you I will not post that list unless you desperately want me to! Instead I have provided you with pictures of the paperbacks. After I sign the post at the end, I'll list the books I have read from cover to cover since the last blog post - this will become a thing I'm hoping to maintain. From a mixture of the two, you can then work out what books I have. I think it could become quite fun, Guess the Books Ellana Does Not Have... Yet. Can that be a thing? Let's make it a thing. It is now a thing.
I hope you all had a fabulous mid-Winter celebration, and you welcomed in the new year the way you wanted to; here's to 2014 being not as rubbish as last year.
See you next week!
